Anyhow, enough warring with the Househeads, time for the actual review:

Got in just after DJ Zinc got started. Listened to about 30 mins of his stuff. It was nice Jungly DNB, but not really much more than that, I still felt uncomfortable in the crowd (it takes a little while to get used to the Junglists), so off to the Orange Room me and m2j went.

Once in a while, the Orange Room is just so awesome you don't wanna leave no matter who's playing in the other rooms. It was definitely the case here, as I stuck around for the whole Robb G and Freestylers set, effectively missing most of Zinc and all of Shy FX.

But I didn't give a shit. Both Robb G and Freestylers spun awesome sets. Robb G was pure Breaks, and I'm by no means a breakbeat expert, and even I recognized more than a few tracks, which was certainly enjoyable. Really awesome stuff from him. His crowd interaction reminded me of Jelo.

When the Freestylers came on, the Orange Room filled to the brim. I've never seen that room so fucking full. Freestylers lived up to the hype and threw down and absolutely incredible set. It was Ragga Breaks? Someone correct me if I'm wrong here. Anyhow, it was good - a lot of good tunes, a couple of mashups; Prodigy got played, that always makes the night for me. Hearing Big Pimping as a Breaks song was awesome too. There were a lot more tunes that I knew, tunes that I wish I knew, but basically sick set.

Left Freestylers to see my main man, Andy C. God, words fail to describe how much I love his driving DNB style. Totally destroyed me. He started off nice and hard. Then towards the middle of the set he got a bit more Jungly, which I didn't enjoy as much, but towards the end. wowowooow. So many great tracks. Prodigy. Pendulum. Me and Mahan will prolly try to come up with some sort of a tracklist later. He definitely finished off on a high note.

In conclusion, I hardly regret not going to Tiesto - I had a solid night of toonage, and it was a much needed refreshment from Trance. SICK.

Sooo damn tired. Will say 2 things for now:

- Deep Dish played Miss Kitten - Requiem For A Hit...biggest wtf of the night; Awesome!

- I entered the KH once and felt really unwanted by the junglist kids. I was innocently watching some of them dance, and heard one girl exclaim to her friend that 'ginos' shouldn't be in there and how they can't handle the d&b. I can't stand it when someone enforces a label on me and makes stupid assumptions. Next tune that rolled in, I decided to put out and showcase what I can do. She gave me a 'wtf' surprised look and I told her 'bitch pls' and laughed my way out to the orange room.
