Just one question for all the people who lost their virginity at 15-16, are you aware that American society as a whole frowns upon your behavior and considers your lifestyle an "alternative" one? I strongly disagree with that view, but I'm in the minority.

Every day when browsing news sites, it seems, I run across articles or op-eds or columnists who express shock at the possibility of teens having sex, and even some syndicated psychologists dishing out advice consider this behavior "marginal" or unusual. Just like most parents who consider it unlikely and weird.

Yet, it seems, most people lose their virginity at 16? Where's this disconnect coming from? Looks like there's some major gap in acknowledging reality, or actually it is true that few teens are sexually active at 14-15, and therefore it is indeed an "alternative" lifestyle?
