Not only is he the definitive master of trance bass lines, but his melodies are simple, his samples are clear and precise and his builds are sequenced perfectly in time, not to mention his layers upon layers of mechanicalesque rythmic sample loops that accentuate the passionate string synths... Also, MOST (NOT everyone) of his remix's and edit's he's done over the years are just gold... The man understands trance moreso than any other producer I've heard since the very beginning... There have been countless tracks created that I've loved by most everyone listed in this thread, but consistently, PVD gets it right more times than anyone else and more often than not, he's the one improving everyone eles' stuff... |
