thought i'd help you out with the dates

i thought the aussies had a pretty decent team. the come back against japan was one of the highlights of the tournament so far.

The refs seem intent on ruining this tournament, it was a great game up until materazzi was wrongly dismissed. Then we seen italy play their typical defensive style which was totally understandable.

Thought the first half australia dominated possession but did very little with it, wheras italy had 3 or 4 very good chances to score.

All in all a fair result.

for the first time, i agree with you on this 100%.
the Roo's won my heart this tournament and the fans were incredible. They went to germany and made their mark. Their fans were behind them 100% and I can see them as a powerful club down the road. Unfortunately for the USA, everyone is still blaming each other and us soccer" has fallen to the 5th page on ESPN.

Va Fanculo Azzuri!

I am absolutely devastated by this result. Many people that were at the pub where I watched the match were crying.

I am half Italian and I usually support them in the world cup, but now I hope they get their ass kicked in the quarter final.

wtf?? Italy did the same shitty game only in defense the first half and they missed many occasions like in every game they've done. australians owned the most part of it. the first time I tried to support the country where I live, and they dissapointed me again. good lucky asses scored in the extra time with a penalty for the joy of mine and my friends. but this is not italy going to the finals, you'll see later.
and don't make me think all the girls like soccer teams only where good looking players are

bullshit. 2 footed, off the ground. Forget if he was last man, we know he wasn't, it was serious foul play & the sooner those tackles are outlawed, the sooner people stop getting broken bones.
