its a policy of the club and it's targeting a different clientelle unlike guvernment
as for dress code, do not dress like you're going to a rave and you will have no problems getting in

exactly, gera.
the club's clientel is quite similar to the crowd that you would find in The Drink on saturdays. that would explain why so many of you complain and whine about TIL, all of you are gallery/guv main room people.
no, the crowd is not snobby like most of you say they are. they are actually very friendly. myself and gera (and a few other ta's) have been there enough times over the past few months to know.
it all boils down to one thing: different strokes for different folks.

this is london is as much fun as you make it.
that said, after going to a proper party at 99 sudbury on friday, I am reminded of why I never really feel satisfied after a night at TIL. It just doesn't have that vibe that you usually associate with the music of the DJ you're there to hear.

Glam vs. Grime mate, not everyone wants the same thing when they go clubbing. I try to keep a healthy balance of both (although I'd like to think I spill over more into fancy pantsy)

I don't understand what other 'demographics' you're talking about, when I think Sander or Carl Cox I think dirty electro or techno house, people going crazy, sweating and who gives a flying crap.. When I think This is London I think "for an older... more mature crowd.." for socializing and for trying to prove that you are Someone.. and I don't see how those 2 go hand in hand?
I was speaking from a business perspective.
