Somebody should see what key those are all in, and then post it here so we can see how harmonic or unharmonic it is. Might be neat.

Ill start with
Babe im gonna leave you (1A) Mixshare INTO ascendancy (8A)personally keyed. Therefore according to the circle of fifths you have performed a modulation so far so good.

You are more than welcome to download a mix I just did and let me know what you think. I did not have any of the keys written on the tracks, and the set came out pretty good. I am not saying that it is a waste of time to learn how to key your tracks and mix strictly harmonicly, but you don't have to in order to have a nice flow in your set.

(FIXED)

I get your point Michael, and it's good that you can key your tracks by ear, but still it's taking you time, beacuise you have to be selecting tracks until you find a Key Match.
If you get your tracks keyed, you would choose the right song right away, and you will not lose any time. =)

I see what your saying. And I am not perfect at it. I am sure that keyng my tracks would do nothing but good for my sets.

Unless of course "babe im gonna leave you" is in the 130bpm range and needs to be pitched up about 5% to beatmatch with "ascendancy" this would theoreticly change a 1A to an 8A... wa la perfect in key flow.

Yes it will also give you more time to pick perfect tracks and beatmatch longer for those extra tight mixes
