couldnt agree more. but the problem is, and this is the reason why im hating on pvd, is that if its so easy for them, then they should fucking do it. the reason people and myself in the past pay such a large amount of money on them is for the hope they'll do that.

svd on other hand will play his heart out for $15 a ticket. that right there gets my respect!

edit: and to be completely honest, im really done seeing pvd/tiesto/armin/etc here because of that. i'll see them again, but only if i travel to see them. the chances of them throwing down a legendary set in europe are far greater than here. as much as that sucks, its true.
edit #2: and the BEST pvd show ive ever been to (love from above 2002) the ticket was 20 euros. which at the time was $20!!!! he also played for 6.5 hours! with nu-nrg live!!

There is no reason to compare the past with the future. dude everything was cheaper and better a few years back. thats why the prices go up now. things have to be bigger and better and more expensive to facilitate growth and profits. Obviously they know its a good show.. which is why prices go up. consumer demand has alot to do with it too. why else would you spend 100 bux to go see whats promoted as some of the top dj's in the world and then only see about an hour from maybe 2 of your favorites because they are all playing at the same time..thats wack.

I honestly think the only thing I'll admit that has gotten better is the presentation. the lighting and FX at these shows are unreal nowadays..
