Well I know what u mean about sex not being ALL about achieving an orgasm. It’s very hard for me to orgasm, so I’ve obviously grown accustomed to just enjoying sex for what it is, and obviously pleasing. Since it’s so hard for me to get off, I’m a “pleaser” lol and I get just as much satisfaction from that as I do from an orgasm.

But it’s still pretty important for me to have an orgasm. I’m always very patient the first few months with a new bf/partner, but if a long time goes by and I’m still not comfortable enough and it’s still not happening, I start to get discouraged and sexually frustrated.
