re-read my thread, there have been no new settlements or expansions of them in areas A and B of the disputed territories since 1993 (fact - as seen by the map someone here showed). we are not "pushing" the palestinians out, that is a lie and i want you to admit it.

They call the palestinians that live in israel "cancer cells that needs to be removed"

that was one idiotic parliment member who does not represent the majority view of israelis, i dare you to show me another, i can quote you a whole bunch from the palestinian authority who have said the same things about the israelis. the majority of israelis WANT a palestinian country by their side to live in peace and security, we just cant have that with the current palestinian authority.

When palestinians try to go to their work they get kicked down and insulted by israeli soldiers

how about the israeli citizens who get blown up while sitting for a cup of coffee? see a differnce?

their pregnant woman cant even go to the hospital

we've already given you various reasons why this takes place. take your anger out at arafat for not building adequate hospitals from the millions and millions of dollars he recieved from US aid since 1993. i wonder where all that money went? weapons, nahh couldnt be, theres just no proof of that
| quote: | Hahaha.. boy, if you want to know the root of all this stuff you need to go way back in history..
If I was Ariel Sharon, what would I do? I would negotiate, stop keeping the palestinian leader as a hostage and do my very best to negotiate. If then and only then the palestinians really didnt show any interest in negotiation i wouldnt have a choice then
|
already been done. agian how do you explain the whole peace proccess thats lasted for 7-8 years (1993-2000)? if you would have been following this prior to the past year you would have understood that we have already tried every means possible to negotiate for peace. furthermore, Dennis Ross the guy who was the closest from the united states in helping the two sides come together for peace during all of clintons presidency has concluded and been quoted as saying, Arafat has shown he does not want peace nor will there be as long as he is in power.
| quote: |
i would close all doors, give them their land and then not let a single palestinian get in israel
|
thats almost impossible to do. keep all palestinians out, ya thats makes sense, and what about those that want to visit family in israel? and what about when rockets start flying from palestinian areas into israel? what about the numerous organizations that wont stop their resistance (ie terrorist activities) until they get ALL of israel (hamas, islamic jihad... etc)?
thanks for showing me you understand so much about this issue

Armed Palestinians have breached fundamental principles of international humanitarian law on numerous occasions. It is not acceptable to deliberately target civilians, to let off a bomb where women and children are standing, to shoot a girl on a street, to arbitrarily target cars on roads or to kill people who are held as prisoners.
These actions are shocking. Yet they can never justify the human rights violations and grave breaches of the Geneva Conventions which, over the past 18 months, have been committed daily, hourly, even every minute, by the Israeli authorities against Palestinians. |
Again, they go on to assume that Israel "[violates] and [does] grave breaches of the Geneva Conventions which, over the past 18 months, have been committed daily, hourly, even every minute".
Yet from the same article they can't make the assumptions that Israel stops to check ambulances, and prevent them from entering war scenes at times do to the fact that they have been misused by the Palestinians, who would smuggle weapons, terrorist, and suicide bombers, to and fro using these same vehicles.
I will even admit I don't think the Palestinians have violate the geneva convention daily, hourly, even, every minute in the past 18 months.
If this is not clear cut bias, a diliberate action to hastly blame sides without doing research, and said only to achieve a political agenda I don't know what is.
Now, would you like me to disprove the UN as well?
