Maybe it's just because I like how cutting-edge the style is, but I wouldn't be listening to newer electronic music if it weren't for Sasha & Digweed. I've pretty much given up on trance and whatever the hell house is like these days because all the sets I listen to sound the same. As previous posters have said, DJing is all about how you play the tunes, and I find that very few DJs are still capable of presenting music to drive a crowd like Sasha & Digweed still do.

I think he's lost a bit of his luster, not really digging on the minimal/Kompakt snorefests that his more recent sets seem filled with... but he has made some of my all time favorite mix albums and tracks - his GUs, Involver, the Northern Exposure series...

I mean common guys... I admit that his Albums are just out of heaven.. pure bliss.. but that dosent mean he is a 'DJ' at World No. 9 or 3?..
Common, when was the last time you heard any good set from him?
I have heard a lot about about Sasha.. like he is lame most of the time but one set he does once in a while and that is absolutely rocking, like noone else.. well if you know such set.. than post me the link (just name)! I am yet to hear that one set..
I like all of his albums though.. they are just bliss..
But still.. outside of his albums which comes in once in 2 years.. live sets.. he is very boring and dull with only beats and beeps.
I like Sasha's live sets very much.Well at least the few i have heard. My fave set he and Digweed did was Live at Southfest Buenos Aires 2005.One of the best sets i've heard, ever.Don't have the link though. Some one on here does i'm sure. Some one post it please.
