his argument was that that Iraq isnt bad and specifically burning children isnt part of any local culture because culture is defined differently than regional...however, they are writing a consitution and hopefully that fixes all teh fucked up stuff they do... which would be a red flag in my mind. Then he proceeds to say in the classic argument style "Well the west is bad too" as if that invalidates it.
Its pretty fucked to say that iraq like Africa has no control over the men and way too much control over women and children. Its pretty ridiculous to think that I actually think child burning is a practice. I never mentioned that. I was saying that a culture that allows men to run wild and punish the fuck out of everyone without themselves being punished is a bad system. I said women need more rights as do the children because its a sink of human rights deprivations.
I dont know why you guys think thats so outlandish other than you are wildly in the mindset of "oh its Orbax, he must be saying something inflammatory".
