No, not at all. I still can't see what mr. Tenaglia acting like a 5 year old who didn't get his favourite plastic shovel at the sandbox has to do with gay DJ's of NY.

Well, then another 5 pages won't get you to understand it.

On another note, look at some of your own favorite DJs. I'd bet you'll feel more disturbed and annoyed if you saw some of their contracts and contract-riders/demands-lists. I think demanding 1500$ of liquor, and ONLY Blue M&M's is more offensive to the EDM scene than a DJ who has consistently asked for his sets not to be recorded. A friend of mine works in a club so I see all the contracts, and there's some shit that'll totally make you wanna throw in the towel, as far as going to clubs is concerned.

Okay... Let's take a step back and I'll explain it in terms you may understand (you won't have to draw conclusions by yourself, is what I'm saying)....

Imagine a punk rock band (let's say the Sex Pistols) in the 1980s: mohawks, tattoos, piercings all over, foul mouths, etc. Let's say MTV is doing a big exclusive interview on them, and all throughout, they're just acting like wankers, cursing, saying stupid drug-induced shit. During their tour, they fuck up the hotel room, and cause all sorts of shit in the cities they're in. They get on the mic and curse the government and God and make fun of people in the crowd.... But they have fans all over the globe who love them because of this. They love the attitude, they love their degenerate actions, they love them because they're assholes. It's become part of them just as much as their music has, and those fans understand and APPRECIATE that as part of their "stage presence", whereas their parents can't understand why their children are listening to these monsters, these assholes, these degenerates.

Similarly, there's a class of DJs who didn't act like the wankers that a 1980s punk band did, but acted like divas. There's many of them, and my point from the beginning is that many of them, in the history of house, came from New York. Detroit gave birth to techno, while New York gave birth to diva-house, and "kunty-house". This class of DJs, their egos rose, and their actions and words got more and more brash, but their fans (in New York, at least, and at the time, it was only a gay scene, for the most part) loved them all the more for it. I, for one, love when DT gets on the mic and says something stupid, that's me. Does that make me ignorant? Does that make me some single-sighted DT-lover? Not at all.... Friday night, DT is playing together with Lee Burridge here in New York. I will probably like Lee Burridge's set more, and the day after, I will probably go to this after-afterhours party with Alex Under, and probably like his set even more.... But, I'm just explaining myself from a different point of view that someone on a computer in Denmark has, no offense, but it's from a totally different viewpoint, that's just the truth.

I think this just about sums it up. Good for the people in Denmark, though.

Yeah, I don't ever see Denmark on every DJ's list of gig destinations, good for you.

Why would I care what happens in Denmark? And what does that have to do with anything?
