I dont think its a good idea to pre-plans sets because you have no idea how the DJ will be playing before you. He could be playing as hard as nails, so then you need to play music accordingly to wine down the tempo so that you can get to where you need to be musically. If you pre-programme your set starting pretty slow and deep, youll kill the atmosphere of the night taking over from the guy whos just been thrashing it out, and Ive seen this happen many times.
