pretty sure you can wear whatever, it shouldn't be a problem. I have never heard of WH rejecting people...either way we'll make sure it won't be an issue for Saturday

lol, I don't think I have worn a pair of shoes or a dress shirt to a club since 2002 maybe.

I don't know the kids who didn't get in last night, and I don't want to make assumptions about them....but sometimes if a door guy, or security person gets a sketchy vibe from someone (whether it be from a past experience, or they just look like they are up to no good) they will use their dress as an excuse to not let them in. Webster Hall has never had a dress code in over 20 years from what I can recall.

^^ tru tru, or maybe they are just a$$holes. lol.

ive never had problems but its happened to Drew more than once, and we just make sure to bring dress shoes along and keep them in the car just in case we run into them. Seems stupid to have to expend that sort of effort especially for a crapola place like WH, but whatever. its probably the same bouncers that gives sh*t about guestlists (like there is this girl who always NEVER knows about free guestlists) and willcall lists just smile sweetly and nod, then flip them off mentally. rofl

Dude,,I can go back as far as 1993 at Sasha and Digweeds Northern exposure parties..Not only did you have to be smartly dressed, you also had to be wearing designer labels. Also there were Boys and Girls tickets to make sure there were equal amounts of males and females.

The security were dressed in black military uniforms ffs, combat boots and berets etc..

Well i was one of those kids. I was wearing a graphic tee and some dark colored diesels just like i usually do every time ive been out to webster hall. Jon was wearing already wearing a collared shirt and some onitsuka tigers. We arrived at the front of the line just about 10:30 where there was a group of girls in front of us. The bouncer told the girls that they had to come back in a half hour cuz he thought one of the girls was too drunk. From what i could tell she looked completely sober. Ofcourse they argued with him cuz they wanted to get in on the free admission and he pretty much said get off the line. Then we came up next and he immediately just said dress shirts and shoes only, get off the line. So after running around the city with no luck in finding a shoe store open at that time of the night we decided to go back to try again. So this was around 11:20 and we see they are just letting anyone and everyone in so we jus hopped on line and got in the second time with no questions asked. I personally dont think I put out a sketchy vibe, but hey i could be wrong. Anyways my advise is, if ur trying to get in before 11 for free admission wear a collar shirt and shoes. But thanks to kelly and wai for trying to help us out when u guys werent goin out that night. much appreciated.
