Dude,,I can go back as far as 1993 at Sasha and Digweeds Northern exposure parties..Not only did you have to be smartly dressed, you also had to be wearing designer labels. Also there were Boys and Girls tickets to make sure there were equal amounts of males and females.
The security were dressed in black military uniforms ffs, combat boots and berets etc..
