I loved van der Saar some years ago. Nowadays he is in ManU, that team I dislike. But I agree, he is great. My favourite keepers are Buffon and Cech, maybe Boruc. Iker, "Santo" Iker, no, dislike him. But van der Saar is legend. I remember only 2 keepers in last 10 or 15 yrs., wich was dominant as a old players. Schmeichel and that brasilian guy, wich was in a goal when Obelix Ronaldo (AC Milan) was seventeen yrs. young....

Ooooo ummmm... Cladio Taffarel ? The bald dude? I got mixed up with him and Thomas Ravelli, who was the swedish goalkeeper some years ago.

Exactly, Taffarel! Thanks, dude! My memory is sometimes short.

Ravelli was one of my first favourite players, amazing saves in World Cup 1994.

Hehe, was a decent goalkeeper if I recall. That was a time when Larsson still had dreads and Stoichkov was at his peak. That world cup in the US really should have given football the boost it needed in the states, but it just didn't take off.
