If I found out he had slept with 45 people, I would probably re-evaluate my attraction to him. Is he just a schmoozer? Sweet talks the ladies, fucks 'em then chucks 'em? Does he have issues with commitment? Etc. etc.

It's likely that if I am into him, and 45 other chicks were into him, there is a common trend that I would probably not like to find myself suckered into. Sorry, but I don't plan to be another notch in the belt.

I have not encountered a guy I was interested in who has given me a number that I would scoff at. Surprisingly, I have found guys who are shocked at my number... but I think that guys expect the numbers to be lower for women.
