my predictions.
keep in mind the top 3 are division seeds and not necessarily the top point getters.

10. Carolina Hurricanes
11. Buffalo Sabres
12. New York Islanders
13. Florida Panthers
14. Atlanta Thrashers
15. Toronto Maple Leafs
West
1. Detroit Red Wings
2. San Jose Sharks
3. Minnesota Wild
4. Dallas Stars
5. Anaheim Ducks
6. Calgary Flames
7. Nashville Predators
8. Edmonton Oilers
9. Chicago Blackhawks
10. Columbus Blue Jackets
11. Colorado Avalanche
12. Vancouver Canucks
13. Los Angeles Kings

i think there will be a few surprises this year
i hope i am wrong in a few cases. this kind of thing is hard to predict accurately past the top 4 seeds.

sakic is finished. We already saw the signs last year.
still one of the greatest players of his time, but not enough to get them in the playoffs imo.
Finished on the ice after a long season perhaps. But irreplaceable in the locker room. Especially in a young team.

As much as I want Washington to win their division, I have a feeling Tampa Bay's policy of signing everyone in sight plus Stamkos who will be bigger than any of the new players since Ovechkin & Crosby will win it.

watch your mouth wnen you are talking about my team...hell no they won't finish 11th. that's just embarrassing
also montreal at #1 again is extremely unlikely. it has been over a decade since a team finished #1 seed in the east back-to-back PLUS the points race at the end of the reason was very close. montreal and pittsburgh flip flopped a couple times in the last two weeks of the season. also that #8 position on both ends could have gone to almost anyone! i mean carolina found out they were out the last day of the season at the end of the last game. you can only say with conviction that maybe 6 teams will finish out of the playoffs and that is it.

Then Swamper and his entourage of 30, who were all wearing TA monogramed Rolexes, left the room and flew to Hawaii for a few hours because Del wanted fresh coconut.
To his defense, Trump didn't even really look like a bum.

ElFreak....I think I agree
The Sharks will make it almost to the end and fuck themselves for the seventh year in a row.
I blame the coach.
Nah the Flames will beat them in the second round
