I believe the only reason those trance threads get closed more-so is because of the flame wars that occur after comments are made that are intentionally hostile, berating and are no way affiliated with the topic's direction.

Let's suppose there's someone posting here that foremost likes trance and knows other EDM & music genres and tried them, but came to the conclusion to stick with trance with the occasional other track/song:

Not that it's necessary, but i wonder why trance seems to get all the bash threads and other genres, like techno, house, electro, hardcore, drum & bass, minimal, etc. seldomly get the shaft...

you obviously haven't payed enough attention. I've seen minimal and stuff being just as bashed as trance.
I personally think that most minimal stuff is a farse. It's an even bigger pile of shit than ASOT-drenched shit.
