I dont remember the last film. But I remember the first film! I was about 9 years old and it was the ending of Homeward Bound:

Also, I just watched The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. Really, really depressing movie, but the scene that made my eyes water up was when Bruno falls off of the tire swing and cuts his knee and starts talking to Pavel.

I almost went to see that movie but didn't because I assumed it would be too depressing. Sounds like I was right! Speaking of depressing (and I mean ultra depressing), I saw a preview the other day for "My Sister's Keeper".... if you're a chick I'm warning you now, don't go see it if you don't want to be a wreck.

Alltime nr. one cry-movie: Cinema Paradiso.

PS.: I saw people mentioning Milk...I stopped halfway through while trying to watch it yesterday. Unbelievably boring and prententious to the bone (Gus van Sant's way of filming, that is). Oh and fuck the Academy for handing the Oscar to Penn instead of Rourke!

i'd have to disagree with you. if you thought it was boring, well, that's one thing, but how was it pretentious?

also, i saw the wrestler, and that was a pretty kick ass performance by rourke, but penn was insane as well... honestly, i could see where they would just have to flip a coin to see who was more deserving.

That doesn't look very depressing. I'm willing to bet the movie ends one of three ways:

1) She realizes she's a selfish bitch and gives her sister a kidney
2) Her sister says something like, "it's ok I don't need ur kidney I'll be ok lol"
3) The cancer goes into remission and everything is happily ever after, but not really because Alec Baldwin isn't playing someone funny.

but there is one scene in one movie that turns me stomach and got me yelling don't do it please.

It was the big jump in Trade. I was begging inside no no no!

I had some really teary moments during any Dane Cook movies. I was thinking how did I get duped into wasting this part of my life on such horrid sh!t. Even Larry the Cable Guy don't get me so welled up as "Simon Sez", "Good luck Chuck", "Torque" and other brain-crushing sh!tmonsters of Kabbalahian proportions.

In terms of real horror, nevermind sexual-politics provocation, "Grave" can neither re-create its predecessor's impact nor compete with stranger new beasts like Lars von Trier's "Antichrist."i download I Spit On Your Grave movie to watch ,Female-empowerment fantasy or just plain prurience, "Grave" is extremely efficient grindhouse. If there is any message here at all, it's don't mess with a novelist: being creative is her job.
