If it is a productive social result then I'd definately consider it. Frankly though a lot of work isn't needed to be done it is a pure money grab by companies that make huge mark ups and rip people off.

Listing your consulting services on eBay isn't a real job application. Have you tried applying at a service station, Subway, McDonalds, a bar, a cleaning company? No? Why?

You haven't because you think those jobs are demeaning, and you'd rather take money from the government (or more accurately, tax payers). Personally, I would rather work an awful minimum wage job than live with the shame of taking money from others when I didn't need it.
