So true. I have to keep this in mind for my sets. I knew a particular DJ I am good friends with was going to be at a gig I was doing with a lot of his younger friends there. So I knew I had to bring it harder than what the headlining DJ before me was going to play. As expected the kids loved it, but I had this annoying 40-50 year old complaining to me that it was too hard. He would also go on later at the afterparty to complain about how much weight he had gained since he first started clubbing, showing me pictures of him back in the day.... how pathetic. I think you should be proud of the weight you put it on. It shows you are living well.
