Why would you do that when you could store it all on a 1TB disk, and play the lot through both decks.

One thing I hate about my CDJs is the amount of disk noise you get when a CD spins up. Makes having a quiet and subltle mix almost impossible. I'm drawn to the external source capability of these new units for that reason.

Fucking should do at the price they're charging. In fact it should come with a classically trained butler and a willing mistress.

But alas, no.

The cd slot should double up as a fleshlight.

Got mine for about $2988 with shipping. Well of course I don't have them yet, but I pre-ordered for that. So that's not far off from what to expect. Dealer cost is around $1300 I guess.

Are you going to continue to use a laptop (Traktor?) Or are you going to switch fully over to the 2000's?

Yeah I don't know yet I'm definitely keeping Traktor and the laptop as I can still use my 1200's with it as well. I'll have to see how well the Traktor HID integration works, it's not even available yet.

So for now, I'll probably be all on the 2000's. I just bought sexy brand new Technics M5G's too, so those need some love too.
