Well for starters, I can hardly believe that people are still posting to this thread. I still stand by my original vote for pop (no, I didn't vote again) but I am seriously concerned for this thread with how far back pop is in the thread. I'd rather listen to rap than pop pretty much any day. What you guys aren't realizing here is that that genre is mixed up badly. You can't really combine rap with "urban" since "urban" is just another word for r&b, pop-rap, and hip-hop. It's much too broad of a category. When I think of rap, I don't think of the rap you hear on the radio or on mtv, I think of old-school rap which in my mind simply doesn't exist anymore. I'm talking about dogg pound, chronic, Warren G, etc. Good rap died in the late '90's. I can't even think of any names of current rap vocalists because I simply dislike it so much, but the truth of it is that none of the current big names in the world of rap really compare at all to the old guys. So I still say that pop is the hands down worst of all times, and in my mind I'm putting that so called "urban" subgenre right with the pop music and just killing off as much bad music as I can with one shot. hehehe
Anyhow, this is a very subjective outlook and I'm not getting on people's cases that voted anti-rap. I AM however getting on the cases of the lack of votes for the terribleness of pop music.
