i honestly didnt enjoy their party last year besides emery and jaytech's sets...a&b were very predictable and boring to be honest...but this venue is deff a step up shit is massive iam still kinda shocked they are throwing it there...so if the line-up besides a&b are good i will probly check it out

and i hope made announces more then 2 parties wtf

the anjuna and flashover parties were my highlights. hoping to make it down again in 2011!

After 5 years of flaking, I'm going to Miami. Got roundtrip airfare & a 4 night hostel stay in South Beach for $370. Now, I need to figure out how to have a good time without breaking the bank.

Well some tips...

Don't order room service.
If you have a kitchenette or microwave try to cook your meals or get frozen dinners.
Split cab rides with people that are going to the same places.
Bring only as much cash as you need, the more you have the more you will likely spend.
Enter as many contests for free admission to events as you can.
(my site should be hosting a bunch in the coming months)
Don't over schedule and buy tickets to parties that you aren't realistically going to make it to.
(that was the one thing I hear from so many people year after year... they either get too trashed, are having too much fun at the party they are currently at to leave, or run into someone and loose track of time and end up not going to a party they have already purchased tickets for.)

if you plan on drinking deffff deffff hit up the local liqour store and pre-game before and on the way to parties...they rape you in south beach, i remember last year i was waiting for over an hour to get into the pacha beach party at the gansevoort which was a free party, the line was packed luckly i bought a lil pre-game soda and vodka with me cause they were chargeing like 12 bucks for beers

defff try and get a room with atleast a microwave and fridge....last year we hit up the market and got tv dinners to eat and made eggs every morning for breakfast, i think i only ate out maybe once or twice

deff share on cab rides, a cab ride from south beach to downtown where the clubs are will run like 20-25 bucks...you can take the bus for alot cheaper but unless your with a group of people i dont advise it, i took it last year one night and i will just say it was very very very grimey and shady people

buy advanced tickets before hand, door prices jump to crazy prices during wmc

also when leaveing clubs at 6 or 7am in downtown miami its not the most pleasent place, you are def not in kansas anymore...more like south philly or newark very very very deserted and cracked out so please stay with a group of people, and it def does suck tryin to catch a cab cause when you leave the club so is everyone else and catching a cab can take you a lil while
