Come on, man. This is all you, not knowing who you are and letting Loony get into your head to push your buttons. Everyone who has had a problem with him is guilty of the same thing - including me. The fact is that just because he trashes someone's idea, musically related or otherwise, doesn't mean he's "trashing most of our threads with no consequences." So what if he is trashing ideas? He is either wrong or right and if he's wrong, the consequence of him being wrong has no bearing on the results.

Just because I like him doesn't mean he's got me any more bamboozled than you do. Do I like you because you've got me fooled? I don't think you're giving me much credit, friend. One of the things I think is cool about him is that he doesn't varnish his opinion with misleading nicety. I can trust him in that regard. I don't mind people who just look at the upside of everything (or who genuinely perceive things as good) but I give a lot of credit to posters like MSZ, SYSTEM-J, and Looney4Clooney (all three have given brutal reviews of my work), because I know they're not pulling punches, trying to make sure my feelings aren't hurt. That doesn't mean I always agree with their assessments. That doesn't even mean I always get along with them. I just know that I've learned more from trying to see things from their perspectives than by shunning them.

The way I see this thread is that you're just trying to get people to agree that Looney's views are irrelevant because you dislike his bed-side manner and don't particularly care for his opinion of your ideas. In short, you're just trying to silence him because he doesn't agree with you. I honestly think you're being a bit stubborn and short-sighted. I think you've wrapped your ideas in so much ego that it hurts your feelings he's not accepting them. The bottom line is that if you didn't respect him - his ideas, experience, intelligence, et al - you wouldn't be so persistent with your arguments against him. It's much easier to discount someone if you don't respect them and you're clearly having a hard time discounting Looney.

Not at all Eddie, as I said that before, I do respect him because his theoretical knowledge but that is all, never offended him (damn it, why are we even discussing this again) but all of those comment about how retarded this idea is (which basically started few day ago over here in another thread, remember this was only a discussion about state in label situation) --> in my view is just bit over the line!

There was no problem at all with different views and perspective and even DJRANN give his (and I believe most accurate) opinion without all this drama, I just can't believe it came to this lol, looks like he is that kind of guy who feed itself out of this and quietly play a victim after all --> sweet game, but I don't dance.
