Daaamn, that was a nice first goal from Paraguay. German keeper caught totally flat-footed.

Oh my gosh, that header for Morocco by Diop was amazing. Might be my favorite goal of this WC so far.

That (NED/MAR) was a hell of a match.

I knew Morocco had won when I was woken by the sound of fireworks and car horns in the middle of the night. Amsterdam west party time.

Queridos hermanos,
On behalf of the 7-1 thrashed Brazil and the Maracanã fallen Argentina from 2014, I'm both thankful and impressed you guys have been beating Germany mercilessly since then. Before I begin, let me just get this straight: Mexico held them at the group stage in 2018, and now both Ecuador and Paraguay ganged up on them? Wow. Just wow. I didn't have this on my bingo card, but I'm glad you also avenged Curaçao after triggering us. Anyway, the fact that both Japan and South Korea joined you is also inspiring. Hermanos para siempre
Ps.: Holland versus The Netherlands was also amazing, best derby in this World Cup. Morocco and Canada will be a great match no matter who wins

Awesome match. I will miss Android Auto's mentions of a certain Doctor Congo when discussing World Cup fixtures, but this was a bloody great game for a country that had not shown up at all since rebranding.
Good on England though. Let's see what Belgium and Senegal have in store for us, no one seems to have much of an edge over the other.
Edit: About Brazil versus Norway. Although every model I've seen gives Brazil roughly a 2-in-3 chance of advancing, we've never beaten Norway. Ever. And they've never advanced past the round of 16. Someone is bound to break a tabboo, and I'm afraid the numbers aren't actually very helpful here
Edit 2: What's happening!? What a roller coaster Senegal versus Belgium has been. Wow.

This was a good second half even though I’m not a fan of either teams. I was impressed by the lack of shenanigans. Take that Figo, you flaming fuck.

Haha, people found a way to rate the matches as if the World Cup was a TV series on IMDB. The top 3 have been "Belgium vs. Senegal", "England vs. Croatia", and "Algeria vs. Austria", although Portugal versus Croatia earlier today was absolute drama. It's the first time I've seen a match that wasn't a draw go all the way into extra time
