Someone once told me Sasha was so called because he once got so drunk he pissed himself, and his mates then called him "Slasher", but over the years it got abbreviated.

Don't know how true it is but it sure beats Alexander Coe as a DJ name. But it does make you wonder what he'd be called if he shat himself.

I'm also curious as to whether Jon The Dentist was really a dentist, anyone know?

-Tiesto cried at his set at Innercity 1999
-Kai Tracid made 'Liquid Skies' because he was broken hearted about a girl who dumped him
-PvD & ATB don't go well together in a small room
-Jam X (DuMonde) & Piet Blank (Blank & Jones) don't like eachother as well
-Before Tiesto plays, he always must take a dump at the toilet, even when he don't have to go, he just goes
-Tiesto used to make hardcore under the alias 'Da Joker' and made some records together with DJ Yves (not Yves de Ruyter)
-Yoji Biomehanika has a wife with pink hair, a kid and a cat
-Bossi (Cosmic Gate) & Jam X (DuMonde) are the bestest of friends, like loads of porn and have wild holidays together at tropical resorts (while one of them is actually married and has a son)

I'm not sure if Run-DMC were on Def Jam, but you'll be thinking of Rick Rubin.

Yeah, but it doesn't have the usually poppy Vengaboys feel to it. It's actually alot better than the grandiloquent anthem crap you people call trance.

Don't know what the hell they were on when they produced it, but it turned out good.

I heard Oakey once dropped (nonremixed, all original) Beethoven's 5th in a club...lights went off and he just played it out...I think this was in the mid 90s. If anyone can elaborate, go for it.

He played 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky in the late 80's. Blacked out the whole club during it, too, so it might've been this you're refering to?
