Thats my opinion too, however I set mine up to keep in touch with some Brits I travelled with. Its since spread like a cancer, and now I've got a heap of other people.
I even broke my 1 cardinal rule of Facebook a couple of days ago and added people I work with. I always justified not having them by saying that if I wanted to talk to them I'd bloody well talk to them during the 8 hours a day we're together, but I folded. Because they're female. And hot.
It is good though cos I have a heap of photos from travelling etc on there so people can see them cos its hard to show everyone the photos I take each time I come back from a trip, so now I bang em up on Facebook and they can see them that way.
I hate that I'm sitting on my laptop in a uni tute room, my next group that I'm supposed to teach isn't supposed to arrive for another 5 minutes and they've just turned up, while I'm on TA and banging out some tunes. Bastards, bugger off you undergrads.
