exclusivity? sprint already has it so that wouldnt be exclusivity.

oh and if your friend is selling it to you at a really cheap price then ok. go for it. data is like $30/month unlimited.

well depending on the country you may or may not be able to use it here. i know in korea (not all carriers but approximately half), japan, and one other country dont even bother. they use a pre-final spec of CDMA2000 (the underlying spec behind 1xRTT and EVDO) which is incompatible with US CDMA networks. there are phones in HK though that work here. im not well versed on them anymore though so id have a hard time recommending any. samsung usually has some SICK ass phones that arent in the states but are available in korea, china, and taiwan that you can use here. make sure they are triband GSM compatible and you will be fine. 850 and 1900 are the preferred bands but if they offer at least one of those they will MORE than likely work with your carrier but not always. depends if your cing/att or tmo. they both use both spectrums but not in all markets.

speaking of cell phones....

I had cancelled..actually suspended mine in February because I was sick of my phone (it was breaking randomly inside and I was also sick of everyone calling me at random times of the day and blablabla) so I thought I'd cancel for a few months, wait for a good phone to come out and then switch but I had 6 months left on my contract to pay off, so I thought I'd pay those off and then get a new phone, reconnect my service.( I was loving not have a cell phone 6 months, it's actually liberating. having a cell since I was 16, I didn't mind the break) I call today to reconnect it and they gave my number away to someone else. owned.
