yep, that's what I mean. They had a vastly better product, but they didn't do what they needed to to appeal to the average consumer. In the mean time, the line between business & personal equipment/service blurred, & everybody else ate up their market. They never caught onto the idea that hardware mattered, and didn't pour the money into the infrastructure that they needed to.
