No, you don't - and that much is clear by your posts. You seize on snippets and soundbites from media sources you somehow believe are legitimate (but fail to see because of how utterly shallow your real interest in this is - I've never seen someone so attached to the superficial).
Tell me about why Rezko is so bad for Obama, tell me about how in fuck the John Edwards story has anything to do with the medias attention to Obama's campaign, explain to me who William Ayres is and why it's relevant to any discussion in this thread, and finally please explain to me as thoroughly as possible exactly why you're upset about ACORN.
I don't believe you can, and am almost entirely sure your response will either be "I don't have time to play your games" or a bunch of copy and pasted Google results.
Your facade is paper thin, and the only one here who doesn't realize it is you. |
How stupid are you? You can't believe that I can come to the conclusions I do UNLESS I only get my source of news from right wing sound bites. You don't know shit about what I read, and what I know. You just assume. The fact that you believe my interest in all this is shallow and superficial demonstrates how fucking arrogant you are about your ability to perceive people.
Rezko: Hmm, where to begin? Well for starters, he just got convicted on 16 counts of fraud and corruption... and he's the same guy who raised over $250,000 for Obama through 2004 when Obama was associating with him. When Obama wanted to buy his current house, he needed another buyer to come in with him to purchase an adjoining lot. Enter Rezko, who despite having all sorts of legal and financial problems at the time, comes up with $125,000 in a down payment and qualifies for a $500,000 mortgage in order for the Obamas to get their home. Turns out that Rezko got the money from shady Iraqi financier Nadmhi Auchi, after meeting Obama at a reception thrown by Rezko for Auchi to meet the power clique in Illinois.
The John Edwards story: It was a wonderful, all american story of success from nothing, a man solid to his core in ethics and family values that sounded enchanting... people wanted to believe in it, the same way they want to believe Obama is a new type of politician never before seen. It's such bullshit.
William Ayres (and sidekick wife Bernardine Dohrn): Memebers of the Weather Underground anti american group in the 60's... bombed the pentagon, the capital, and other buildings. On 9/11 Ayres stated that his only regret about his past is that he didn't do enough, in regards to bombing, than he could have. Dohrn recently praised Manson for his killings and said "Dig it. First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them. They even shoved a fork into a victim's stomach! Wild!" Obama served on a board with him (Woods foundation AFTER his comments that he wished he did more domestic bombing), gave speeches with, accepted donations from, and kicked off his political career by going to Ayres house to get his blessing.
ACORN(the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now: Obama worked for them as a "community organizer" and legal representative. So of course, they warmly endorse his candidicy. Last July, ACORN settled the largest case of voter fraud in the history of Washington State, as well as being implicated in similar voter fraud schemes in Missouri, Ohio and at least 12 other states. A few months ago, Philadelphia elections officials accused ACORN of filing fraudulent voter registrations in advance of the April 22nd Pennsylvania primary. And a new whistleblower report from the Consumer Rights League claims that Chicago-based ACORN has commingled public tax dollars with political projects.
| quote: | | The Consumer Rights League points out in its new expose, the ACORN Housing Corporation has worked to obtain mortgages for illegal aliens in partnership with Citibank. It relies on undocumented income, "under the table" money, which may not be reported to the Internal Revenue Service. Moreover, the group's "financial justice" operations attack lenders for "exotic" loans, while recommending 10-year interest-only loans (which deny equity to the buyer) and risky reverse mortgages. Whistleblower documents reveal internal discussions among the group that blur the lines between its tax-exempt housing work and its aggressive electioneering activities. The group appears to shake down corporate interests with relentless PR attacks, and then enters "no lobby" agreements with targeted corporations after receiving payment. |
I'm not even going to get into Jerimiah Wright. These are all shady fucks that Obama is associated with, and where there's smoke, there's fire. When the truth about these associations come to light, and we see who these people really are, Obama acts shocked and says these aren't the people he thought he knew.
So, lets see... I copied and pasted that quote, had to re-search for the quote from Ayres' wife because I couldn't remember it verbatim, and needed to find the name of Rezko's Iraqi financer. The rest is pretty much out of my own thinking brain and based on the hundreds if not thousands of alternative and main stream media reports I've read every day for the last, who knows how long. It's all truth too, not opinion. So, professor, I want you to tell me how his associations with those people are no big deal? I can virtually predict how you're going to blow off all of them like they're no big deal. But to me, the company one keeps tells of their character.
