just dragged myself out of bed... long night and i was nothing resembling sober. i do remember posting though, so at least that's not a surprise *cough orbax*
trancer-x, glad you like dire straits. they're one of my favorite bands. i'm especially crazy about "tunnel of love" mmmm....
arturo, in response to your post: HAHAHA, SUCKERS! you're all suckers in my book because you were awake and i wasn't. hope your enjoyed consciousness.
i love steamboat springs. great party scene, hot guys, there's about 5x more men than women so my friends and i feel pretty wanted when we go out there mister opus, i love snowboarders... they're usually the cutest! actually i snowboard a bit myself, but tend to stick to skiing because when i actually get to a snowy mountain i want to hit it hard and not practice my snowboarding skills on green and blue slopes.
occider, thanks for the maxim address, i'm going to send that asap!

Being an ex-avid snowboarder, I was always a little partial to Breckenridge. However, depends highly on the time of year you go. I wouldn't go to the hotspots like Vail and Breckenridge around Spring Break time if you paid me! Copper Mountain is pretty damn nice too, SnowMass is descent. I've also been partial to Loveland personally - always great snow, good mixture of both mediocre and challenging slopes, so if you have friends who suck they should still have a good time. The backsides were scary as hell, but that's what makes 'em so f$cking fun (at least for me!) I believe the town we stayed at outside was Georgetown, which had some descent lodging. If you're into partying it up, however, you'd probably be best with the Vail/Beaver Creek, Breckenridge areas, however.

Heh Breckinridge, I dont snowboard or ski (cos if do I would kill myself and others!) the only reasone im quoting you is because Breckenridge reminds me of the move Cannibal! The Musical!
Anyone heard of it or seen it? its the first movie made by Trey PArker & MAtt Stone. Its about Alfred Packer, the only man convicted of cannibalism in the US. They were on their way to Breckinridge, CO but got caught in a snowstorm. Packer had to eat his friends to stay alive, kinda like the Donner party.
Anyways a great movie and I recommend it if you can find it.
Cheers!
