Tout à fait d'accord avec toi Lolo, Dany tu aurais dû demander de l'aide à des personnes connaissant le milieu de la nuit, je persiste à dire que faire une soirée comme ça tout seul relève de la pure folie, c'est ingérable.

Pour le son, il y avait un régulateur pour les 4 enceintes de la salle.

C'est eux qui on rétabli le son... ouf

hey misja, dani, precision and every TA fan that was there,

I must say that even though the organisation was terrible, everybody that was there kept good spirits and played for the people. I hope that agencies and artists don't take this event's organisation as a generalisation of "french organisation".

as I posted on my blog, I hope to get involved/organise the next big gig in France and keep the spirit and movement going in france.

Hello everyone, you remember me? I'm that French guy who moved to Antwerp last year. Sorry I haven't posted anything in months, but I do check this site from time to time (I like to follow what's going on trance-wise in France).

I gotta say I'm saddened by what happened in Lyon. Dany has done a great job organizing previous smaller parties but on this big festival he fucked up big time and he should at least admit it. This party certainly did more harm than good to the small but enthusiastic French trance scene.

The truth is that trance in France will always be low-key, only appealing to a few hundred people. For some reason, French clubbers only care for house. There can be successful small trance parties in France (with no more than one or two well known names) but it makes no sense to have a better line-up than Trance Energy in Lyon!

Also organizing something in August is never good in France, most Frenchmen are away on vacation during that month. If Dany had organized this party another month, there would have probably been more French clubbers.

Yep , that's why , it's very difficult to organize events in France. You ask 1 dj to play there , not many people come cause they don't want to travel 800 or more kilometers just for one person.
You try to make a bigger party , there aren't enought people who like trance to make enough money for the promoters. I think this is just what happened in that case, but maybe I'm wrong...

well, after reading a couple reactions in french here, I must change my professional opinion about Dany and his parties, then. Because I read all the other reactions and just realized it went wrong with ALL the guests probably. I should ask jOOf what went wrong with the booking too!!

So to make it clear, I wasn't defending the guy, just wanted to calm down a lil bit. I don't approve such lack of courtesy for your guests, Dany, not at all! And your lack of reply now, and above all your lack of PUBLIC APOLOGIES to your guests just makes it a lot worse! Please clarify!

Dany, j'avais peut-être l'impression de te défendre, mais sache que je veux calmer le forum d'abord, et qu'en rien je n'approuve une telle attitude envers mes collègues, qu'ils soient amis ou ennemis.

Encore une fois rien de grave au niveau humain, mais au niveau pro, alors là, d'après les réactions, même de certains clubbers, c'est triste. Et ton manque de suivi en ce moment ne fait qu'amplifier le problème.On s'est tous cassé la gueule à un moment, le plus important c'est d'assumer!

J'espère au moins que tu auras la décence de t'excuser auprès des guests que tu as fait venir de si loin.
