Melbourne is the party city, Brisbane is for the relaxing lifestyle. Sydney is just crazy, period.

Just depends what you want. But I'm guessing you've already made your mind up.

Melbourne is so much better than Sydney it's not funny. And I'm pretty neutral in that discussion.

Depends what you're looking at. I think Melbourne and Sydney are both brilliant and I would have no qualms about living in Melbourne, but Sydney just edges it out slightly. What's even better is it will always be the jewel of Australia and that annoys the shit out of the Vics so much, it's hilarious

Melbourne is not inordinately terrible aside from the bi-polar weather behaviour, its just that its not got anything distinctively "great" either in terms of global presence.
