I've also been partial to Loveland personally - always great snow, good mixture of both mediocre and challenging slopes, so if you have friends who suck they should still have a good time. The backsides were scary as hell, but that's what makes 'em so f$cking fun (at least for me!) I believe the town we stayed at outside was Georgetown, which had some descent lodging. If you're into partying it up, however, you'd probably be best with the Vail/Beaver Creek, Breckenridge areas, however.

Just my $.02. (

P.S. - what's all this schtick about leather and Maxim? Damnit, I hate jumping in the middle of things....

Yea I loved breckinridge, and for the week I was out there, I think I spent two days on that mountain. But then I got tempted back to vail because their terrain park was rediculous with the softest landings you could possibly hope for. Copper Mountain was good with the night skiing. Don't really remember beaver creek all that much. At any rate, I was almost going go to lake tahoe again this year because that has the best scenery anywhere in the US, but that kind of fell through . Oh well, I just bought a pair of Saloman X-Screams ('02 models) and I'm itching to try them out for a pre-warmer at killington in january. And like i said in my appreciation thread, I don't hate snowboarders ... only the sucky ones

Well, haven't snowboarded in 6 years, so if I got back on, I'd probably be one of the "sucky" ones!

mmmmmm, Tahoe.........

I used to snowboard all the time, when I had enough cash to be flying to the mountains and back all the time. But since for now I am stuck/rooted here in Florida, snowboarding seems but a far away dream....

But, if all goes well, I'll be moving to NY by July, so I'll be able to make the drive and snowboard once again!

Wow, at first I thought I was in the wrong place. hehe

This little thread is attracting the masses! This is what happens when guys start imagining Daffs in tight leather pants! I'll have to find someplace else to hide, eh?

Adam Ant and Dire Straits!

More, more!

I learned to snowboard in Greenland. But I couldn't compare it to anything because I have not yet skiied or snowboarded anywhere else.

no echo, you're not allowed to leave!! i was thinking the same thing earlier today, this place is attracting the masses. i like the ski/snowboard discussion because i'm dying to hit the slopes again. occrider, do you like killington? steamboat ruined that place for me, i've become a ski-out-west snob.

not doing anything tonight because there's really nothing to do. so, more job applications! woohoo.

You could drink while doing job applications.

I am accepting applications for the escort slot still

My mom is here...she came up to take the truck back down to Champagin and is going to take off in the morning so I will not be doing much posting and such hehe.

I dislike snowboarders cause the damn thing was not invented when I learned to ski in Vail in 1983.

If anyone is a Giant Slalom skiier and wants to buy a pair of 174cm K2 Patriot G5's ('00) that have been only worn a couple of times I am willing to part with them for a good price. I got lied to by the salesman and they are way beyond my capabilities these days (I learned that in Whistler)

Hello to the new people....especially the lady type peoples.

Quick lyrics by the greatest trio in rock history, The Police (I heard this in the car on the way to pick my mom up and I thought it was a good post song)

Won't you be my girl
Won't you be my girl
Won't you be my, be my,
Be my girl

(spoken words)
I was blue and lonely, I couldn't sleep a wink
And I could only get unconscious if I'd had to much to drink.
There was somehow, something wrong somewhere,
And each day seemed grey and dead
The seeds of desperation were growing in my head.
I needed inspiration, a brand new start in life,
Somewhere to place affection, but I didn't want a wife.
And then by lucky chance I saw [in] a special magazine
An ad. that was unusual, the like I'd never seen,
"Experience something different with our new imported toy,
She's loving, warm, inflatable and a guarantee of joy."
She came all wrapped in cardboard, all pink and shrivelled down
A breath of air was all she needed to make her lose that frown.
I took her to the bedroom and pumped her with some life,
And later in a moment that girl became my wife.
And so I sit her in the corner and sometimes stroke her hair
And when I'm feeling naughty I blow her up with air
She's cuddly and she's bouncy, she's like a rubber ball,
I bounce her in the kitchen and I bounce her in the hall.
[And now my life is different since Sally came my way]
I wake up [in the] morning and have her on a tray
She's everything they say she was and I wear a permanent grin,
And I only have to worry in case my girl wears pins.
(end of spoken words section)

Won't you be my girl
Won't you be my girl
Won't you be my, be my,
Be my girl

MrS

yep, i have my glass of wine trying to keep it to a minimum because my body is a little mad at me right now. about to start a cover letter to playboy. they don't have an internship program, or any entry level jobs (at least it doesn't look that way), but i'm going to convince them to take me on anyway.

speaking of...

taaaaaaake on meeeeeeeeeee (take on me)
taaaaaaake meeee ooonnnnnnnn (take on me)

mr s, what salary and benefits does the escort slot open? any writing involved?
