I have been studying gender since my undergrad degree, and I would be more than willing to give you my honest opinion if you care to hear it...it has a lot to do w/ societal constructions of gender roles and sexuality...not sure if TA is the best place for it..my bad for startingall this. suddenly i have turned into "lil' miss shitdisturber" on TA..not sure what has gotten into me.

ps i think it's ok to feel uncomfortable, and good to admit it. but i think going on about how it is disgusting etc, is not cool.

i think when ppl have problems w/ things that don't really concern them or hurt anyone, then they DO have issues to sort out. i don't see how that is unprovoked or unnecessary. it wasn't inteded to be an insult. i am just speaking frankly.

i am not homophobic in anyway.. i have a lesbian aunt and a gay friend.. it's just for the record when i see thing like what happend at the guv going on, i tend to feel uncomfortable..
