wrong, both of them are sarcasm.
eg
"i'll just go and throw myself infront fo a train then" is sarcasm, when im obviously not gonna go throw myself infront of a train.
irony is sumthing that happens, you cant say something ironic, something can be ironic, like the car example. or the username happy jack ( ) is ironic coz the guy is neither happy or called jack.
