And what about the points streak they just finished? They had Mcabe, kaberle, Reichel, Renberg, Neiwendyk, Roberts, Belfour out @ various times throughout it, not to mention the absence of Mogilny the whole time.
Why to Leafs fans always forget the positive, and after one loss, no matter how bad, start crying "the sky is falling".
#1 We played our backup who has only played 5 games before this one, going 3-0-1 with a shutout and a 1.9gaa before this game.
#2 It was the teams 3rd game in 4 nights
#3 We iced about 2 NHL quality lines out, with one line being maybe a second line on most NHL teams, the other a 3rd or fourth. Minor leaguers do not a good game make in the NHL.
