this is going to be very hard, since there are like so many songs to choose from. Therefore, I am going to choose the 10 songs that has gotten me to love EDM music the way it is right now ...

1. BT - Flaming June (10 pts)
2. William Orbit - Adagio for Strings (9 pts)
3. Salt Tank - Eugina (8 pts)
4. Robert Miles - Red Zone (7 pts)
5. Veracocha - Carte Blanche (6 pts)
6. Filo and Peri presents Whirlpool - Under the sun (5 pts) <===== flame me here, but I totally think this song represents trance to the way it should be .. ecclectic and soothing, but also in a flowingly jam dance like pattern...
7. Jam and Spoon - Stella (4 pts)
8. Gouryella - Walhalla (3 pts)
9. Dumonde vs Lange - Memory (2 pts)
10. Push - Strange World (1 pts)

Bonus (could not make top 10, since there are so many) :

PVD - For an Angel
Ferry Corsten - Indigo
PVD ft Hemstock and Jennings - Nothing But You (Arctic)
BT - Dreaming
Tiesto - Theme From Norefjell
Tiesto - Suburban Train
Svenson and Gielen - Falling Star

I forgot Nu-NRG - Take Your Air Damit! This track deserves so much more credit.

I am aware.

My logic could be flawed, and I am willing to concede to majority opinion. I deliberately listed the track with the above title because Push deserves the credit, and not Ayu.

One of the rules for this poll is
"> On alternate versions, only specify an alternative version if it really is different. For example Halycon +On +On is okay, but (2004 rework) isn't.
"

What if the alternate version isn't just really different, its 100% different?

I fully understand the concept of a remix, and agree that given the parameters of this thread that the original deserves credit 99.99% of the time.

However

The Push "dub" of Ayu's boys and girls does not contain a single note similar to the original. They are so completely dissimilar that even though the title, and the fact that the push remix appears on an Ayu remix album logically guarantees that its a remix of an Ayu song that I still can't believe it is.

If push deserves it philosophically (which i'd argue) then I think that overides whoever the track name says deserves it.

But I don't claim my logic is ironclad. I am open to others opinions on the subject.

Hey, there's no need to worry. I'm noting down tracks where they are getting votes purely for one remix, so when the Top 100 is posted I'll make sure credit is due. People who strongly want a remix mentioned are putting it down regardless, so I suggest you do the same if you really want credit to a remixer.
