This thread is so full of ridiculous conspiracy theory bullshit. I'm just waiting to see the post that says George Bush personally fired the "missile" that struck the Pentagon
Lol. He totally woke up and accidentally pressed the magic red button!

People mock what they don't unsderstand. Instead of defending your ignorance, maybe you could try doing some investigative research.

There is definitely a lot more restricted airspace in the D.C. area, but I don't know if that means they have some much more sophisticated defense system or something. They probably have a more sensitive radar, but I don't know if that means they can scramble fighter jets etc., faster if they're just tracking a commercial plane. I'm just guessing though--I really don't have any specific data I can point to.
In any event, from one of the links I posted, here's what happens to an F4 going 500mph into a concrete wall (and remember that the Pentagon is one of the most fortified buildings in the world, and the area that was struck had been undergoing renovations and was one of THE most fortified areas in the building.
The Pentagon acquited the Avenger missile system a year AFTER 9/11. The White House has had AA guns on the roof for some time now, though.
One of the funny thing's about the attacks is that the airplane's fuselage is made mostly from soft aluminum. It's engines are denser and considerably more solid but yet they didn't leave any holes. They definitely didn't squeeze themselves through that sixteen foot diameter hole along with the wings (which should have sheared off, btw). So what happened to the two, six foot diameter engines? Why didn't they make their own holes and go through at least one of the outer rings? How or why did the soft aluminum fuselage punch through so many sections of reinforced concrete while the engines caused no apparent damage?
There are a lot of unanswered questions and it's obvious that nobody wants to answer them. How convenient for them.

So are you saying you believe there WAS a plane or that there WASN'T a plane? I'm still waiting for you to answer the most basic question: What happened to the plane and all of the people on it? Did you look at the F4 crash video above? Obliterated.

No, I'm saying that IF IT REALLY WAS then why didn't the engines make holes just like the soft aluminum fuselage supposedly did?
I watched that video and a few dozen just like it several years ago when I started taking an interest in this whole 9/11 conspiracy.
However, it's like comparing a Honda Civic's crash test to that of a Greyhound bus.

Honestly, I wish I could give a difinitive answer.
Perhaps they wanted to test their new bunkerbuster equipped Global Hawk on the portion of the Pentagon that they had just reinforced in order to withstand such an attack? That's just a semi-educated guess.
But yes, I was wholly serious when I said that that section had just been reinforced and an aluminum fuselage penetrated it quite easily.
I mean, what did they reinforce it with for it to be penetrated so easily, balsa wood? I kind of doubt it.

This plus the missing people/plane/crew just drills massive holes into all the CS theories.

At least they're not nearly as big as the holes in the government's theory

They did. And the pilot (Hani Hanjour) who allegedly flew into the Pentagon was so horrible at flying a single engined Cessna that his flight instructor refused to go up with him - but yet he somehow managed a feat of aviation that professional pilots said that they'd have a hard time pulling off - IN A LARGE COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT (via the government's official conspiracy theory)
