ya, I got to L5 shortly before 2am, I'm glad I stayed for the entire G&D set @ On Broadway (it seemed pretty quiet there, sound wasn't up as loud as usual). That was my first time to L5 and I didn't realize it was going to be that loud either. I'm sure that it didn't help I was pretty much to the right of Markus for those 2 hours either
Any recommendations for good ear plugs to use, I don't want to be deaf when I hit 30 ya know?

The problem with spunge earlplugs like that is they muffle the treble horribly.
The Etymotic ER20 high fidelity earplugs is about the best you can get for its cost. Only $12. Better than ANY spunge earplug you will ever but. Cuts down the decibles w/ no loss in quality.
You can buy them at Guitar Centers and Sam Ash Music stores under the name "HEAROS High Fidelity Series" ... the same exact thing. Remember, the ER20s are the awesome ones for its price.

how do i get the CD from last night markus?
daveT, it only reduce it to 20 dB. do u know anything that can cut it down more than 20 dB? last night was my first night where my ear is really ringing the next day i wake up. i never have this problem in any of my rave/clubbing experience ever in my life
