they didn't started with euthanesia.
if you refer to WWII:

quote:
"World War II started because the Treaty of Versailles imposed such draconian punishment on Germany that it paupered the country and did not address the underlying nationalism. Hitler, using the Jews and communists as an excuse, played on the pride of the Germans to essentially rekindle World War I."

(quoted from some website.)

so tell me how you think the nazi's started and what this has to do with ending a life of a helpless child that suffers, is in pain and will not live longer then a few months anyway. imo it's a lot more humane then trying to keep the child alive and suffering. (so this will answer you're 'who's next question' too: disabled don't suffer and are epected to live longer then the end of the week)

you now probably want all dutch dead, or put away in camps...hmmm reminds me of something that happened about 60 years ago

but seriously, stop thinking so narrow minded. you hurt other ppl with it. i can see there are moral issues with ending one's life. a descision like this is probably the hardest one to take for the parents and for the doctors as well.
but dont think that because it is possible it is easy to do. sensitive subjects like these come with a shitload of rules, next to all the moral issues parents theirself can have.

i read in saturday's newspaper that this subject was quite a hot item in the us. some talkshowhost on fox channel would have called all dutch nazis as well. i'd suggest the dutch gouvernment to sue them and perhaps we can make big money out of it so we can afford to kill even more young healthy babies who don't suffer and don't have pain and will live for at least another 75 years!

john

ps if you think ending one's life only happens in holland, you should have a closer look at you're own countries society. if you like it or not it happens EVERYWHERE on the planet. scientifical reseach has proven this.
