Jeez, you guys should stfu.

All I've seen in this thread is people who want to know what they're talking about who probably have 20gb of GDJB sets, or McProg whores defending there favourite genre like its there sworn duty, or just plain idiots.

Heck, I agree with almost everything you've said in this thread, you're just not as aggressive about it as I.

I really don't understand how someone who's listened to EDM for 10 years can enjoy GDJB/ASOT. Your taste in music ought to have evolved by now, but it's a lost cause trying to convert you now.

Bye.

exactly what I thought People like you think that you listen to special music, but by the time your genre becomes popular you're going to make a thread about that!
It's stupid because in your profile it says you're favourite producer is Ozgur, and he is bloody good! But he always sounds the same, just like Probspot....

It's simple too make a thread like this but it has no worth to anybody if you ask me! Ofcourse you can mention that you don't like Markus, Armin and Perry and the Armada-label but then don't be so childish to show your opinion like that.

I wouldn't say you're more aggressive, i would say you're more immature about it.

You just don't geddit.

1: Grow Up
2: You got opinions, just like everyone else. WTF makes you think the music you listen to is more 'superior'. You gonna try and convert a person that likes Rock into the stuff you like, and degrade them because you can't.
3: Grow up more, you're only like 16 and think your Mr It.

It does not apply to you Cobalt, since you lead an intelligent debate. I am talking about others in this horrid thread. Instead of arousing anger and futher hatred toward elitists, it may actually spawn an interest to what that person listens to.

Unfortunately, like in most arguments, there are plenty of idiots and irrational people in both sides. There's a guy with a very similar taste in music to mine, which has been posting in this thread, that is on my ignore list.

Which is exactly why on one hand, some cannot accept different people have different tastes of music, while on the other hand, some people defend the American progressive or mcprog genre like there's no tomorrow.

American Prog?

Ozgur Can- Sweden
Perry Oneil- Holland
James Holden- UK
Armin- Holland
Markus- Germany

I think calling this progressive trance is the best label. This trend to me is very simialr to Rock, when progressive rock bands like Pink Floyd and Greatful Dead seperated themselves from the typical rock sounds with a more deeper less obvious journey. This to me is what has happened to trance with these producers.
