Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been handed a two-match touchline ban and fined 20,000 Swiss francs (£9,000) by UEFA for his part in the Nou Camp row. Chelsea, Mourinho, his assistant Steve Clarke and security official Les Miles were charged by UEFA with bringing the game into disrepute following the first leg of their Champions League tie in Barcelona.

^^ Short version ...not good for Chelsea

lol double wtf This is actually really funny...

The Azerbaijani coach (he's actually Brazilian) was lashing out at Michael Owen after the game and calling him a midget

quote:
...The captain of Brazil's 1970 World Cup winning team was furious about remarks attributed to Owen that he expected to score five goals in Wednesday's game at St. James' Park.

Owen missed at least three easy chances, leaving Steven Gerrard and England captain David Beckham to get the goals.

"Michael Owen. What has he won?" Carlos Alberto asked after the match. "The champion of the world? At least he plays for Real Madrid, but he never starts. He's on the bench every game.

"Where are the five goals? He didn't score a goal. He thinks he is the king. Who is he? I have some history in football. What is the history of this guy?"

Poland beat Azerbaijan 8-0 on Saturday, leading many commentators to predict a high-scoring victory for the home team.

"He doesn't deserve that I talk about him. He has to go and clean the shoes of Beckham," said Carlos Alberto, who described Owen as a "midget."

...

The England coach said he was confident that Owen had not made the remarks that angered Carlos Alberto.

Benny, if you haven't seen the videos of our invasion of Guiseppe Meazza last season in the UEFA cup here’s a few clips I’ve found recently, there’s nothing better to warm you up than a good old authentic Mediterranean atmosphere.

Alright wankers let’s get back to business, we got some major football action tomorrow and on Wed. Those who can place your bets, by account on bet365 has hit 0 so I’ll be watching the matches stress-free but Lyon seems a sure pick @ Gerland and I could see a draw at Anfield but overall it’s quite a tricky game to predict. It’s the first encounter between Liverpool and Juventus since the dark day of football of the 1985 European Champions' Cup final at Heysel. It should be a dandy.

That sucks for your boys man, but hey it's the chance you take for the unique euphoria of authentic glory. I'd seen the OM videos on mouvement ultra(don't know if you know the site or not) and always said L'OM suppoters can rock any stadium.

Tommorow, more quality CL with the Milan derby. Even without Shevy, I can't see Milan losing this one but every curse has to come to an end (Inter's only hope the way I see it ). I also don't see Chelsea having a very easy time with Bayern, but Mourinho has yet to be shut up so it's hard for me to really predict the verdict.
