im already arguing about this in the political forums but the short answer is yes, i think there are times when we should (like when we send troops to help with tidal waves or independence, peace keeping etc). and countries all around the world are meant to abide by UN laws as well dont forget. just coz youre a sovereign nation doesn't necessarily mean you have a free reign in what occurs in your country. (unless youre a nation that has a stick)

all im saying is the sentence is way too harsh (i honestly dont care about the argument about different cultures and their non-relative, isolated natures) and our govt should help any of its citizens *at least* serve out their sentences in a homeland gaol. and i dont see any benefit for the indonesians to make her stay there. as we can plainly see, no matter the laws, people continue to do it. people are stupid. im trying to protect people, people
