Bleep's goal is to bring quality dance-floor music, music without it's head up it's arse, to areas where it's seemingly lacking. Stale music has taken over and needs to move over. Variety is one component of Bleep, but only one of many. Look forward to hearing many forms of Electronic music with labeling of the sub-genres firmly ignored. We need less labels, not more. Techno is the label that Bleep assumes, but it's the Techno label of days gone by...with a sense of humour.
Everyone is highly encouraged to ask questions or comment about Bleep mixes. All questions will be answered. Help will be given. Direction will be shown.

Bleep 165
Aired: June 18th, 2009
Mixed by: Trevor Wilkes
Another week giving it a go with the boom, bang crash. I didn't realize it had been so long since I touched a lot of this stuff. Or, really hadn't given it any play time yet. I'm stumbling across records that I got in and barely touched as I was playing other things at the time. I guess it's their turn finally...

Bleep 166: Nick G
Bleep 166
Aired: June 25th, 2009
Mixed by: Nick G.
Today we have a mix here from Nick Gryskiewicz who hails from Minneapolis right now. 'Nick G' as I think he prefers to go by when the music is involved has been enjoying being a student of Techno for abouta decade in the Wisconsin and Twin City area. But, as we all know...all the silly bio details mean next to nothing. Either the music is enjoyable or it's not.
I enjoyed this. I hope you do to.

Bleep 167: ### (Mark Hawkins)
Bleep 167
Aired: July 2nd, 2009
Mixed by: ### (Mark Hawkins)
Mark Hawkins is all set to debut his newest live set this weekend in Lithuania at the Tundra festival. For those of you who are in the know ### is the alias Mark has used for a small handful of EPs full of tracks that are leaning towards the minimal aesthetic. His set at the Tundra Festival will be the live debut of this material and in anticipation he has sent over, for use as this week's Bleep, a recording of one of his practice runs.
You'll notice a lot of new material of course, but also, some older tracks of his have gotten re-rubs to align them with the newer direction. Enjoy!

Bleep 169: Dimitry Ghost
Bleep 169
Aired: July 16th, 2009
Mixed by: Dimitry Ghost (Barcelona)
Dimitry and I first spoke back in December of 2008. The intervening time between then and now was busy for Dimitry, but he's got a set for Bleep hashed out for us to enjoy as well as what was keeping him busy. His chiptune net-label and the group of Barcelona based rave improvisational analog machine junkies.

Bleep Radio 171: Trevor Wilkes
Bleep 171
Aired: July 30th, 2009
Mixed by: Trevor Wilkes (Hamilton, Ontario)
Aside from one or two track marriages which didn't go as smoothly as they were intended this week's Bleep worked out pretty well. In a way it was influenced by the Neil Landstrumm EP that contains the tracks that bookend the set. I had listened to that record a few times while throwing the kid around for the dog to fetch and dug out a few other things I felt went with it that were close at hand. Right now, close at hand means it's relatively new or has been posted on FitM recently, so it's a good mix-up.
Track-list:
00 - 3d!t "Bleep Radio Intro"
01 - Neil Landstrumm "The Godfathers 560" Scandinavia [2009]
02 - Subhead "Keep Calm" Predicaments 03
03 - Lakritze "Machines In Trouble" Robox Neotech []
04 - Frank Yentner "Panem" Neue Heimat 18 [2002]
05 - Ben Pest "There's A Party Inside My Mouth" Bonus Round 04 [2009]
06 - Oliver Rosemann "Master Mason" MonoMental 01 [2009]
07 - Si Begg "Mincer" Algorithme 05 []
08 - Tobias Schmidt "Where Are You?" Ugly Funk 06 [2009]
09 - Jamie Lidell "Compaction Blues" Mosquito 08 []
10 - Cajmere Feat. Dajae "Brighter Days" NRK [2009 Comp]
