I'm sure stinky Pinky doesn't mind. Here's a load of music I wanted him to suggest that I could check out. Some good, GOOD tunes! Definately worth checking out:
A lot of the bands i enjoy that are spanish are puerto rican or old spanish rock tunes i heard when i lived in Puerto Rico. Now, its hard to know about new bands when im not home, but ill tell you some i like and know of.
Manu Chao is great
Mano Negra is good too, it's the band the guy from manu chao used to be in. A goood song:
Mano Negra- Salga la luna
Aterciopelados- Luz Azul
Enanitos Verdes- GREAT BAND. You will like them a lot me thinks. Rocky, but deep. a good song, sad, but great is
"Mi primer dia sin ti"
A good solid mexican rock group that sings about random shit....mainly partying is Genitallica
songs to get:
"Borracho"
"Que fue lo que paso"
On the mexican note, you might also wanna get a solid band that expirements with a variety of styles, bachatta, marrachi, hardc0r, hip hop....but they are solid.....called "Molotov"
GREAT BAND. been going at it for a while now.
really good song to get
"Puto"
A good band from, i think, spain is: Jarabe de Palo
song : "La flaca"
it's old, but awesome.
La Secta- Really good puerto rican band. get anything you can from them.
ok if you like deep sad rock, and im talkin some amazingly deep lyrics and pure talent, you'll love Robi Draco Rosa
USed to be in the menudo, really amazing rocker though. One of the most famous and respected.
He also wrote "Livin la vida loca" for ricky martin, but dont hold that against him
And lastly the band: Viva Nativa
Another band stemmed off from the Menudo (the lead singer was in it), but they are SOLID.
songs: "Me Sobra El agua", and "Puro amor"
now, if you like spanish reggae, i have tons. But you won't find any of those bands out there. but if yer lookin hard here's some
Cultura Prophetica
