Killer party... Devant's set was awesome to start off with, much better than his sets at Tiesto (though I was hoping he'd play 'Raining Again' right before the main DJ got on... I even told him so hehe). Devant closing was a suprise to me, I thought Ferry was going to stick it out, but my dissapointmend soon turned into joy when I heard Devant's first closing track. Damn, what was that song, it was so damn good!

Corsten's set was intense as well, from the classics (I liked that he kept the vocals on 'Fire' going longer than in the original mix) to the newest stuff (Sander Van Dorn must be pleased hehe). As always, Ferry was really into the crowd and seemed to be enjoying himself as much as we were, another sign of a good DJ.

As far as what you guys said about the crowd, I'll have to disagree. Whereas there were some annoying people packing the club in front, it being packed is part of the fun. After all, you don't exactly need to have room to crip walk and step when the set is perfect; the music and the people should be enough (if you were at PvD in Roxy you'd know what I mean --- packed, overheated, tight, but fun as hell).

Right, and I need one more track IDed: Corsten played it a while after 4, maybe closer to 5. It had extremely synthed-out vocals (almost a robotic sound to them, like in 'Without You Near', but closer to Aquagen's version of 'Pornstar') than said "I wanna rock..." (or something similar), right before an extremely epic breakbeat that repeated itself throughout the song. I really want to find this track, so plz help me out.

Overall, that party rocked!

---DJ A.K.

The statement above shows me you are a new jack to clubbing.

I thought i was in Exit circa 2001...so many friggen guidos and wannabes yelling Ferry when Serge was spinnin not knowing who is who...friggen gimps that they are...i left right when Ferry came on.

The guy to girl ratio was like 8 to 1.

Great Show. Serge's set was actually pretty good

Ferry rocked it, great track selection for the most part, even the techy ones. He kept the energy up all night. He's really good at what he does and it shows.

Met a few TA's finally which was great. - Kadomony, Summit, Playerlac.

It was pretty crowded for most of the night but not too bad. Being up front most of the night, I really didnt see too many guidos at all. A few here and there but thats it. Pretty suprising.
The fobs seem to piss me off more. They pretend they are passing by and they just STOP right in front of you and take your precious dancing space - Bastards

I had a blast, looking forward to seeing you guys next time.

I am indeed. My first event in NYC was Sander K. on Sept. 9th in Cro'. Granted I've been clubbing in east/central europe for a while; but that's a whole different scene (I don't think people like Aquagen or DJ Tatana have ever been to Crobar hehe). I guess I haven't been NYC clubbing long enough to start getting annoyed by the fobs and guidos.

That was indeed dissapointing, nothing like the sheer volume of girls that came to AvB the Friday before...

I just looked that one up --- had no idea it was a Corsten song, thanks for the ID!

Ferry owns! Went to Armin last week and I was bored out of my mind, hated the tracklist and didnt dance at all. Went to Ferry and I loved every song, danced my ass off and had a great time joking around with Ferr as always! Eat that Armin!!!

Most of the night the guys I was with in the booth and myself, kept joking around with Ferry and pointing at the cd which had my track on it, in order for him to play it. And he would either close the book in my face, change the page, or show me to jerk off hahaha.
Either way he played it. It was the last song he played before Serge went back on. So I was right next to Ferry jumping around in the booth.

Good times...

oh yes ps, enjoyed meeting the Ta's even though I already forgot who =P

You didn't miss much....the crowd sucked ass, Serge was pretty good but I can't say it was a good opening set for Ferry, Ferry's set was mediocre (and if anybody on this board can form an honest opinion about this event it's me...Ive seen Ferry more than any DJ.) Im not trying to knock anybody that had a great time....more power to ya but you can't say it was a good vibe unless shirtless fist pumping losers waving glow sticks around seems cool to you.
