Killer party... Devant's set was awesome to start off with, much better than his sets at Tiesto (though I was hoping he'd play 'Raining Again' right before the main DJ got on... I even told him so hehe). Devant closing was a suprise to me, I thought Ferry was going to stick it out, but my dissapointmend soon turned into joy when I heard Devant's first closing track. Damn, what was that song, it was so damn good!
Corsten's set was intense as well, from the classics (I liked that he kept the vocals on 'Fire' going longer than in the original mix) to the newest stuff (Sander Van Dorn must be pleased hehe). As always, Ferry was really into the crowd and seemed to be enjoying himself as much as we were, another sign of a good DJ.
As far as what you guys said about the crowd, I'll have to disagree. Whereas there were some annoying people packing the club in front, it being packed is part of the fun. After all, you don't exactly need to have room to crip walk and step when the set is perfect; the music and the people should be enough (if you were at PvD in Roxy you'd know what I mean --- packed, overheated, tight, but fun as hell).
Right, and I need one more track IDed: Corsten played it a while after 4, maybe closer to 5. It had extremely synthed-out vocals (almost a robotic sound to them, like in 'Without You Near', but closer to Aquagen's version of 'Pornstar') than said "I wanna rock..." (or something similar), right before an extremely epic breakbeat that repeated itself throughout the song. I really want to find this track, so plz help me out.
Overall, that party rocked!
