They can publish anything inoffensive since no one really cares the rest is under control … so go ahead and try to publish anything that makes sense but is against the government for example; we’ll see if you succeed.

What is credible according to you? CNN or FOX?

A credible source would be for example: govs archives and academic articles. General public doesn’t read academic stuff simply because it isn’t that bright. Therefore media can effectively brainwash people with all sorts of conspiracy theories … and they wouldn’t even know they are being brainwashed.

media brainwashes people? ok this argument is over. Also, i said credible NEWS source not a credible SOURCE. General public has better shit to worry about, if they didn't have anything to do then perhaps they can do hours of research. but most people have LIVES.

Hmm, I tend to believe that he was murdered, but it's really impossible to be definitively certain about it. We'll probably never know, as it's usually the case with such things. Just like with Napoleon, JFK, Princess Diana...

Anyway, does anyone have a feeling that two bans should be in order some time soon? I'm kinda against closing this thread because there still might be more to say on the subject..

I am almost inclined to agree. There are two things that really showed that the tribunal was at least in part an instrument of political pressure, as well as a really incompetent organization. The first thing was when they kept insisting that Croatia can not enter EU since we didn't catch general Gotovina and are therefore not cooperating. But then when Austria refused to have Turkey start the EU negotiations if Croatia wasn't allowed to start, they made a deal with the UK and lo and behold the next day we were fully cooperating.

The second thing was when they imprisoned Tihomir Blaskic for 40 years, although it was generally known that he wasn't responsible for the crimes appointed to him and that the real documents are being hidden by our government of the period. So 9 years later when the new documents arrived, his sentence was reduced to, oh the coincidence, 9 years. And so it happened that he had no right to complain about wrongful imprisonment. So overall I'm really starting to wish for the tribunal to be dismantled...
