a review you ask... well here's a brief one...
ok space opened at like 6am but there was no way i was gonna go that early... privelage was opening the night before so the crazy ones went from privelage directly to space... i was happy with my choice to go to only space... i left my place at like 6pm to take the bus from san antonio... i get there at like 7pm, Eric Prydz is on the outside stage absolutely ripping it up... the first complete song i heard when i got there was Aftermath, so i immediately got so pumped up and went basically to the front of the stage... during the first 5 minutes at space i think i saw more open drug use than i've ever seen in my life by the way... anyways, after him john digweed went on and played for about an and a half probably? i'm not sure, i didnt really keep track of time... then after him it was carl cox... both threw down nasty sets... i think around 10:30-11pm is when carl cox got off and someone who i'm not sure who it was got on the outside stage... at this point i started walking around, i didnt even go in by this point... when i went inside, i was amazed, space was so big and so perfect, all the different rooms, all the people... and the sound system was PERFECT, i've never heard sound that good in my life... after about a half hour sasha & digweed start playing in the main room... this is where i stayed basically until about 4:30-5am when i left during carl cox's set, the stuff sasha & digweed played was way different than i expected to hear... it was like a "minimal" sound or somethin like that, that's what people were tellin me anyways, i dont even know what i personally would have classified it as, but either way, it was great at the time... and then carl cox got on again and he musta played for a few hours because like i said, i left at like 4:30-5am and the place was still jumpin... also, inside the main room they have these sick frost type things that spray out of the ceiling in certain sections... i stood under one of them 3 times in a row, so refreshing when that things goes on, it looks like a smoke grenade though, you cant see a thing when that thing comes on right above you...
after that, dc10 opened and i'm sure a lot of that crowd went over there, but not me... i still gotta get used to this place... i never imagined how crazy this place actually is... and this is only the beginning
oh yea, forgot to mention... when you're outside... planes go like right over your heads and everyone looks up and cheers... it's such a sick setup
